Some flippant remarks...

Back again.

This blogging thing, I suspect is popular because governments and organisations and people around people in general seem to be hard pressed to sit and lend you a well scrubbed ear. I mean, really, why on earth would anyone be writing this?

I am a rather angst free kind of soul...so it cant be angst...I do have a bit of time at hand for a few weeks...so maybe I am just doodling...but methinks there is more to this.

Perhaps we are living in a world where decibel levels are a tad too high...too much clutter around us...too many attempts at selling the next hot phone, car, hanging (There was the little matter of capital punishment in a certain Singapore...in case you are one of those 'news is boring' types), perfume or wrinkle vanishing cream.

We all want an audience, don't we? Wouldn't it be wonderful if a million people read my views and gave me a million bucks for it? We all want to be heard...its just ironical that we find it increasingly easier to just blurb on into this digital black hole (the Internet) than to actually converse like human beings have for centuries...

Maybe I am just being cynical...You can see why I called this post...flippant!

Anyway...something to ponder perhaps...In the meantime...politely ripping off Ralph Waldo Emerson...

What’s with life?
It drains you at times, doesn’t it?

But we keep going, hoping…
…that maybe sunrise isn’t that far away…

We keep going, persevering…
…believing that our time will come…

Hope and Perseverance…
Keywords these…a life-force…

It’s amazing isn’t it?
…to have a car that doesn’t run out of fuel…

The human soul is indomitable…
…generating this never-ending supply…

I feel blessed…
…and so are you…keep going…

Look forward to a new tomorrow…
’tis a habit with me…with this fuel of life…

So what’s with life?
It invigorates you at times, doesn’t it?

Snapshots of a varied life...

Hello,
I am finally getting around to doing something web-siteish...if you know what I mean.

I mean how many of us out there have a project that we have always been meaning to get onto...Its always 'Desperate Housewives' or (Oh Joy!) vacuuming the laundry room (ironical, isn't it that the laundry room should need vacuuming!!) or something equally important at the time that gets in the way.

No worries any more though. This blog has well and truly been started...and I shall continue to post my random thoughts along with some not-so-random ones for all those who happen to stumble upon this site.
